Our Montessori primary program offers a first-class exploratory, sensory, academic learning experience for children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years. Children work together, but at each child’s own pace, learning from and helping each other in a small, mixed-age, nurturing, and purposefully prepared community environment, guided by a certified, experienced Montessori directress.
At West Clay Montessori we work to understand each child, through observation and one-on-one adult-child interaction, which enables us to follow each child’s inclinations, guiding him or her to naturally develop his/her own gifts and talents, and realize his/her full human potentials.
Our program is structured around a progressive three-year learning cycle, starting around age 2 1/2 - 3 1/2, and ending with graduation around age 5 1/2 - 6. At West Clay Montessori, we provide your child a first-class, quality academic education that will challenge your child at each stage of his/her development. To achieve best results it is strongly recommended that your child stay with the program for the full three years, after which he or she will be fully prepared and ready for first grade.
